      yes, please with the $$.

I remember I looked at an older one in like 2004, and it was much nicer in photos...
It was caged, interior stripped, rusty, and ran kinda dodgy.
They wanted like $6k? I can't remember, but it was too much.

I bought my 92 (titled as '76) for $3500. VERY nice. BRG, RHD (automatic) :(

Kinda bummed but the hunt for a mini is still on.:(:D
Glad to hear it. I just noticed the thread but that car actually isn't a '69. It's a re-VIN of a newer car.

A '69 is a Mk II which should have quite a few features that are missing in the car in question. It should have the external door hinges as well as the sliding windows. See pic below for what an actual Mk II would look like.

There's nothing wrong with a re-VIN (actually it's a good way of getting a Mini with some modern conveniences that would otherwise be impossible to get here), but you should know exactly what it is when you purchase it.

Wow! That mini in your photo is beautiful! The kid was really cool but I can tell he wanted to make a fast buck. Having the car for only 4 months and selling it for 6 grand was ridiculous. Worst part for me was I dont know crap about minis but I knew enough to walk away from a crappy painted one with lots of rust.
          Still looking,Ill find me one.:D

Photos hide a lot of imperfections.

FWIW I paid $7,500 for mine and felt it was a good deal. It was clean and has no visible rust anywhere with a clean interior and an engine that runs well (has about 40k on the clock). The PO originally paid $13k for it and that's probably more or less what it should be worth if the economy hadn't taken a shit.

Hey wait I am still in the game people! Dont give up on Ol' Arch just yet!
6 months ago or so I posted this one below I found in a pool hall bar parking lot. Left a note on it and the dude emailed me. I said to bring it by and that was the last I heard. Lost his email too.
Went to the same pool hall today and got his contact info, guess the guy is a regular there and they all new him. Called him up and we spoke, car is still for sale. We are supposed to meet up in the next couple of days.
                              Keep ya posted.

                              Car is a 1971.

Hey Jason, wanted to thank you for you help on the phone today.Good talking to you buddy!!
