    Gonna go at this later today with my welder friend. Cutting and changing out the rusted floor pan and outer sill. The more I looked at it the easier it looked to do.
    Laughed my ass off at the body guy that stopped by last week by a referral that quoted me $1,400 to do this job.
    Sometimes you just got to grab the bull by the fucking horns yourself!;)

    just saw this thread, i love mini's, i own one as well! probably the most different/fun car ive ever driven, rhd australian '68 morris cooper 's', all original, soon as i finish the //m im gonna start to restore the mini. seeing yours definitely wants me to start working on mine sooner! cant wait to see more!! your lucky you have ability for hi-lo's etc, if mine didnt have hydrolastic susp i prob would have gone vtec swap a long long time ago... haha.

    I had one of those....back in 94 when I lived in Japan. Mine was a delivery van so windows on the back doors only. Had a Honda 1.6 Vtec in it. Cool little ride but torque steer galore, could only imagine a V6 in one.
