Rally driving in the snow...in Georgia !?

We hardly ever get any snow here but last night we got 5-7 inches. People leaving their cars on the side of the road, everybody walking everwhere , mayhem. I put three LSDs in the trunk, grabbed my girl and the dog and went a lot of sideways all over the place. I dont think ive ever got more thumbs ups and people cheering while driving a car ever. It almost makes me wish it snowed more here. I hope all southeast e30s had as much fun as we did. Oh, and a day off work is nice too!

Unfortunately i am slightly interwebs challenged and i have not yet mastered the art of posting pics. This is something i need to rectify soon as ive got some awesome stuff i need to sell. Do i have to have the pics posted on the internet somewhere to post them here ?

Dude, you have no idea. I grew up in the D.C. area so snow driving was learned at a young age. When i moved here i could not believe the level of misunderstanding of the laws of physics in the rain, much less the snow. It is funny to watch if you are not on the receiving end, tho.

You realize it very rarely snows there right? They have no snow plows or snow maintenence equipment. On top of that most don't have snow tires for that matter a lot I know don't have all seasons, and they get no practice driving in it.

Yep, it put down about 5-7 inches here in Alabama and my town shat itself. We certainly have very little snow maintenance equipment of any sort and no one knows how to drive in any sort of weather. I don't have snow tires and neither does anyone else here, summer tires + ice/slush = r3ved.

Fuck snow. You guys down South can keep it! It's 80% chance for 1-2" here. Hopefully the mountains block it.

yup, granted there are some idiot drivers, but these are the biggest factors as well as little or no salt.

I will take driving lunacy every 10 years over rusted out cars any day. Yeah the no snow removal equipment does not help any for sure.
