There's a little shop/dealership/??? about 40 mins from me with a white Sport Quattro parked in front of it. What an amazing car. Over the years, I've seen two 3.0CS's there, a CSL road car, a few nice E28's, and a bunch of other euro stuff. I have no idea what's going on there, and I never have a chance to stop because we only pass by on the way to race weekends.

Yeah I know the difference, didn't realize you meant the sport quattro specifically. Makes a bit more sense why you haven't seen one lol.The cars you saw 5 of in one place, and the picture you posted are VASTLY different cars.
Those and that picture are Audi UR quattros. The one I posted is a Sport quattro.
In 1984, Stig Blomqvist won the Rallye Côte d'Ivoire in the Audi Sport Quattro, driving mostly sideways. In 2011, Audi reps allowed me to nurse a road-going version, wheels forward, around a private racetrack. Blomqvist may have had more fun, but my heart was nonetheless attempting to burst through my chest.
These are not the regular fastback UR you see a bunch of all the time. They didn't sell the Sport in the US.

If that car belongs to Audi NA, I have sat in it. It is awesome. They bought it back from a race shop that had two, on built for pikes peak, and that one....
Here is the link to my thread.

Also, the McLaren was bought from Dave Handy of Sasco, and it was White with a large orange stripe. We took the bodywork off and had it painted with the red white and blue.

Awesome! I didn't expect to meet another vintage race mechanic on here. Dave's a great guy, and the McLaren came out looking beautiful. Good luck with it!
And to keep this post relevant, here are some more of my picks:
My Dad's old 1959 Elva Courier Mk1:

1958 Lotus 11 Le Mans Sports racer (driven by a 77-year-old, no less):

Glad to see the contributions here! I love to see the porsches, the RS200, and the Audi sport. So so glad that I saw the Lancias and especially my favorite, the DeTomaso GT5.
Here is what I got for you - I am sure they are familiar to you all, just not mentioned.
DeTomaso Pantera 200

xj220 maybe?

GT40

This is rare, right?

Basically the Hummer Lambo made - the LM002... About 6mpg or something, HAHAHA!

Heard of this? Not my favorite, but kinda rare. Nissan Gloria
These I just like since I like the turbo hatches - Nissan Pulsar GTR
