Hamilton is on the dirty side, If Webber does not come through into turn 1 then I think Lewis will, more aggressive than Seb, if Vettel does what he did so many times against Alonso last year (super defense at the start) Mark should have 1st place by turn 2

Apparently something is awry when it comes to RBR and their KERS, can't wait to see what it is! :D

What about Petrov and Kobash being up in the top 10.

The STR looks like a good chassis as well, with Buemi and Jamie in 10th and 12th.

I want to see what advantage MSC might have being in 11th and on a fresh set of tires vs all the guys ahead of him on the grid.

NINJA EDIT: i can see why they would not run KERS with fragile tires, not to mention how much faster they are w/o it then there is no real 'need' for the system.

Yes, Petrov is on point! Sucks I heard Heidfeld was held back by Schumacher, keeping him stuck on Q1. But those cars are looking really poised.

The rumor is RBR has a "start only" KERS device, which is basically just like an electric one time boost for the start. They are being sketch about it though like they are about to release a new movie lol.

I don't. I'm a Hamilton fan all the way, he's got much more drive than button in my opinion.

I thought the same about tire management until I heard their almost immediate drop off in performance when it's time to change them. Even Button's "smooth" driving will not matter because of this HUGE drop in performance. If I remember correctly I think it's something like 7 seconds per lap.

and saying Schumi is a smooth driver is like saying all the mexicans outside home depot are legal residents in the US.

I'm so anti-Vettel, that I just say "What a lap by Redbull!" haha. Hopefully this wont turn into a Brawn GP type advantage at the beginning of the season. I'd LOVE to see what hamilton can do in a redbull, it'd be disgusting!

I'm not a big fan of Hamilton or Vettel, though in outright speed, I really doubt Hamilton would be any quicker in the same chassis or even as quick as Vettel. But go ahead and ride his sack to your hearts content.

Have you actually seen him drive? I spent about 3 hours of free practice this weekend down at turn 3 and he was definitely the smoothest driver onto the power coming out of turn 3. He may not have the smoothest driving style in the field, but your statement is kinda taking things to the extreme, and its simply not true.

What a drive by Perez only to be taken away. If hamilton would have made his first stop 2 laps earlier it could have been a little more interesting at the front as he was catching Vetel, but I seriously doubt it would have mattered. Button realy needed to hold up vettel a little to give hammy a chance but Vetel made quick work of him.

It appears that quali is still as important as ever. As vettel cruised and weber wasnt able to do much being mired by traffic. Its just so damned hard to pass with the aero being so sensitive on these cars.

The Button/Massa battle was the best part of the race.

I think the f-duct was more effective than this moveable rear wing. Again kers seems more effective as a defensive function more then anything else. If RBR gets their kers working its lights out for the season.

Wow, Hamilton 2nd with a broken car. This is going to be a good season. Good start for just about everyone. I can't wait to see how this all plays out.
