I watch the BBC feed and I constantly wonder if the guys are actually watching the race.

After Hamilton got him in traffic, they were completely baffled about why Webber's DRS didn't open until late down the straight.

Guys, if you were paying attention, you would see when Webber opened the wing THAT'S when the back in got loose, had to close it, gather the car back up and then reopen.

    Geez.

And completely agree on Hamilton's penalty. Whether you're on the track or not, you have to re-enter the race safely, forcing another car off track is not.

It was Hamilton's own call to go onto inters. He was in front of JB at the time and therefore got the say on when if/when he wanted to stop. You're as bad as Hamilton when it comes to ragging on his crew! haha

Hamilton didn't lose the race going to inters, he lost a position to Alonso by doing that. He lost the race by going to super-softs, as he still would have had to pit regardless for another set of tires at the rate he was using them where as Vettel and Button would not, and they were actually going faster than him on the softs.

i like how the season has circled around the top 3 teams getting victories in the past 5 races rather than the dominance red bull showed in the first half of the season. the only thing that would be better if massa and webber wins the next 2 races to make it more competitive for the top 6 overall drivers.

^That's really just been the last few races.

Vettel actually increased his point lead with Button's win to 88.

On another note: I was wondering if anyone knew if the GP2 cars were on the exact same tires as the F1 cars. I remember Pirelli talking about it in the offseason, not sure if they do.

I wouldn't doubt it, I was watching them at the Hungarian GP and they were being some crazy mother fuckers. They probably have a much harder time controlling those cars when the drop off happens to the tires.
