The only way to find the source of the problem is to check all the replies mentionned here. Including the dreaded snapped swaybar mounts. Which usually happens when a stiff swaybar is used in conjunction with soft springs.

Well, the clunk disappeared for a solid week. I then hit a good bump on the passenger rear and I heard a clunk and on the next 1-2 shift I heard it again. It is damn cold and impossible for me to get on the ground a try to diagnose this. But, does that sound like something that would more likely be subframe bushings or shock mounts?
