    Locals? willing to help!

I was driving home last night and when I got home I noticed the car was over heating and smoking like crazy. I let it cool down over night and this morning I threw a new radiator in ran it and is still over heating. The upper radiator hose seems to be getting hot but the lower hose doesn't feel warm at all. Don't really know what this means... I NEED HELP

Anyone local mind coming by and helping me figure this issue out?
    WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

Dont worry Im not some 50 year old whos looking to tickle your butt! I just need help. hahaha

        Don't do this anymore.

This is the internet. Just make something up.

Why did you change your radiator before your thermostat? How long did it overheat? How long did you run it overheated? Is the head gasket blown? Etc...

It was over heating for like a few mins and I shut it down. I checked my oil and it didnt look milky so I don't think the head gasket is blown. I changed that first because I had that sitting in my garage and I thought it would be a good place to start. How do I check my thermostat?

-Take it (thermostat) out of car.
-Get a pot, thermometer, and a stove.
              -Fill pot with water.
              -Put on stove.
              -Turn stove on.
              -Put thermometer in pot.
              -Put thermostat in pot.
-Check temp on thermometer when t-stat opens up.
-Assuming you have the stock temp t-stat, it should open up around 80 degrees. There are ones for 71 and 75 degrees too. Sometimes they say on the t-stat.
              -Take action according to results.
              -Done.

I do this even to new ones because they can be faulty new. AMHIK.

Just as an FYI, thermostat is where you want to start first when things like this happen, unless there is literally a giant hole in your radiator or something like that.

Verify your waterpump is working and also check coolant temp sensor.
