                    ya bmw's dont have dipsticks. my real question is what preproduction vehicle is this? looks like it may be the new F30... 2012 3-series. i think its funny that the new three will be an F30

                                    Also I ran the vin, that particular X1 that engine is in was made 09/2008, was not a X1 (according to the vin), but an E81 118d and came with a N47. So wtf?

                                                    The same sensor handles it. There's a little meter read out on the cluster and IDrive.
