    Bavarian Auto Recycling= Horrible!!

Just to let everyone know, I have been trying for over 4 months to get a fly wheel for an automatic 1987 325e. This company has sent me several boxes with different flywheels and flex plates but never the correct one. I even took pictures made measurements and counted teeth, providing them with all this info on a very common part. And they still mess it up. After 4 months of waiting and going back and forth with them I was just informed that they don't even have that particular "rare" part in stock. They have promised a refund but after waiting 4 months for a part they dont even have I doubt I will see a penny. If you plan on buying used parts from this company be prepared to be on the phone several times and have your vehicle sitting for an extended period waiting on the correct part which may or may not show up. I would highly suggest avoiding this company.

Send me the details on what you need, I'm pretty sure I have a few and I can probably match their price.

    Thanks!

I unfortunately got involved with them prior to joining this great community. Otherwise I wouldnt have a transaction with them to complain about.

I have several as well. Welcome to is for the price of shipping.

Its a shame they have so much stuff, Nelson the GM is a member here. I wonder if he has any idea.

If he wants an idea I will give him the sales rep. name! And a run down of my run around! I am sure that he is a reasonable guy who just happens to have knuckleheads running his sales department!

You may find this interesting: as of this morning, their website doesn't work and their phone number is disconnected. I have a buddy who ordered some parts from them last week.

                      Wow, that's odd..

And yeah, they are a little steep, but they did have a really good selection of parts. Like Getrag 240s for M42 E30's back when I needed one.

Update! I also posted this on Bimmerfest.com and Nelson responded via PM within 24hrs. He assured me that he personally would make sure I recieved my refund and offered store credit or parts to make up for the headache. At least he is acting on my complaint! We will see if anything comes of it, I will post again as soon as the refund comes....... or the to count the time that passes as I wait for it.

ive dealt with them before and it wasn't the smoothest transaction, but it eventually went through. That being said, I probably wouldn't do business again with them unless I was really pinned in a corner.
