    You wont know until you do it. If the sky falls down you can always get them refinished silver again. Not the end of the world, plus it will be a character building experience. Go for it !

              If you dont mind ruining the possible future resale of the wheels then go for it, I had mine powdered the original color with a high gloss clear.
