    anybody know the significance of this sword and shield?

    I've got this little sword and shield emblem on my 318is,

    I've seen them on some cars - recently on sick5wagen's cabriolet:


    I was wondering if anybody knew the significance of them? I've ruled out the idea of a dealership, there's no name on it - were they owned by somebody on one the bmw boards of some sort?

                      Well, the real question is, what is the signifigance of that little dutch flag on your tail light?

                      Your not a Meyer are you? There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.
