    anyone driving without the center valve cover bracket?

    connects the intake manifold to valve cover. anyone had any problems with this removed?

    I think you risk cracking the lower manifold area where the studs mount - it's actually *very* thin metal down there.

      Without that bracket, the heavy aluminum manifold is cantilevered, which is bad mojo in a high-vibration usage. Definitely a risk of cracking, especially since aluminum fatigues over time.

      If the bracket keeps you up nights, you could convert to individual throttle bodies, then BAM! Problem solved.

        Agreed, in actuality its why I bought an M3. No more nightmares.
