Most of the people driving look like they're out of shape, or don't even own a bicycle.
When I removed my roof rack a few weeks ago, I felt bad - but i needed to buff the roof.
I try to do train on my bike as much as possible, usually do hill climbs.

I've used my roof rack to cart around large sound equipment that couldnt fit in the trunk. it also makes a good strap for a tow rope for sledders behind you

Why am I a roof rack poseur just because I have a roof rack and use it?? If you don't believe me, look at my cross bars. They've got more bumps and bruises than most of the cars on this forum! Don't hate because my car is different than yours. Why do I need to drive a gigantic SUV just to carry a bicycle?

And as a side note, why am I a hipster just because I ride a fixie?
