Archie, just a couple things . If you have not driven it yet, make sure you do before you buy. A 63 mini would have single leading drum brakes in the front and you need to experience the utter suckitude of those bad boys first hand! Also, but less important is the "magic wand" shifter instead of the "remote" shifter offered on the coopers and later models. All of these things can be remedied as the basic cars are the same. Non cooper S Mk1s are awesome but if you are going drive them in modern traffic they really need a few upgrades.

So tired. Worked all day on 4 hours of sleep. Probably playing some vidja games and going to sleep.

Wondering how the Mavs managed to lose the game last night.
Pondering what for dinner
Planning on checking all my belts and pulleys post T belt change. Yes, tensioner, cam shaft seal, WP..blah blah. But now on cold start, post our sub-freezing temps here in DFW for the last two weeks; my 90 325i M20 is squealing like a slashed pig vagina for a bit. Also a rotational, subtle, almost unnoticable feel through the steering wheel at idle.
Not really a miss. Car pulls like a scalded dog under load. Its only at idle, and worse with the AC on. In fact AC makes it almost feel like its dying. Not that it does.
Any ideas? Ill be hitting this weekend sometime. Planning on knocking off the fan, get under the front and tightend all pulley and bracket bolts. Maybe pull off my dist cap. Dont want to take the accessories all off, but, might I guess and recheck the TB tensioner. Ive heard they can fail on new install? I suspect the AC and condenser pulley, bushing, whole fuckin AC crapping out? I dunno.sigpic 1987 325is
