My e30 is my dd and only car, I don't mine the Auto (1hour each way to work everyday) but the one thing I hate is when you pull away and it changes early...then you floor it and it downshifts again, so if you have an exhaust..you look/sound stupid..

Mine says A and it was originally a manual via vin.

i thought it just dropped a gear. like if you mash the shift button some autos have behind the gas pedal. didnt they also have a dial for "S-N-E"? sport-normal-economy)

only a certain transmission had the dial selector, and it wasnt very common. i personally have never seen one in person.

Mine says 325i/A on the same sticker mkcman posted but thn says 325isA on the plaque above it.

And yes it is an automatic.

easy way to settle this - run your VIN, see if it comes up as manual or automatic.

lol, mine came as automatic when I ran the VIN.

not gonna lie... picked up an auto and after driving home for two hours... i kinda enjoyed it. the 4hp22 is pretty nice esp when your DD is a aveo that holds gears like kingkong holds whores.

I already have 5 speed swap parts chilling in the garage though..

Thats just the tire decal, same tires with either trans, thus the "325i/A" or if your prefer 325i / 325iA

What the HELL is going on here? the trans I swapped most definitely was a numbers matching manual trans, and it's most definitely a 3.73 lsd.
