    How you figure?

Got Hagerty on the '02, 5k agreed value, decent limits and 3000+ miles a year for 80 bucks. That's per year. Obviously they won't cover you if it's a DD.

      kthx.

a friend of mine bought an e28 for a grand a few years back. some lady rear ended him and completely bent the back end of the car, frame damage. the insurance company gave him $3500. he broke even over the course of owning that car. breaking even on owning a car is incredibly good luck.

having an insurance company total your car is not the end of the world, unless it is in the $6k+ super clean range. which very few on r3v are.
You sir are fucking retarded! You mean to tell me you would rather have a couple hundred in your pocket and an e30 with a salvaged title than to have you car fixed and be able to know you have a nice clean car with a clean title!! Not me I want my car fixed and fixed right with my title looking the way it did when I got it! I don't wanna have to go the route of trying to find another "clean" e30 and then having to buy my car back from insurance co and then putting in the effort into swapping all my parts that I have installed once already to a "new" car not quite what my insurance company is suppose to be there for?! Or in my opinion!

      Kthanks lol!

        i saw your e30.

        its not clean at all.

you should probably try to get someone to crash into it so you can get it totaled and get a better one.

Same here, I have an awesome policy with Hagerty. I have to keep both 02's garaged and I can't DD them but that isn't an issue for me at all.

3k miles is only 3 24 hour enduro races...

How can you race like that?

sounds like your insurance rep did you a favor telling you all this BEFORE you had a wreck. But, seriously, who doesn't know this?
I don't think your mom appreciates the value of those modifications

I also have Hagerty on the E30 M3, 5k miles per year 30k argreed value policy and I'm getting ready to put the 91' vert on there as well. I have dropped 4500 in 3 weeks on the vert on top of the car price of 1500 so no way would I risk something happining and having the ins. bend me over for less then half the money now that the car is mint. my .02
