So i was browsing around CL and I find a post for an 06 impreza STI for 4.5k in "perfect condition". I emailed the seller and they replied saying the car was in Alaska but she would ship it for free (to miami, fl). Now I just don't know if this is legit or not lol. It really sounds sketch. I ran the vin through carfax and it's clean. Any suggestions?


This is the email she sent me:
Hi,

my buddy did something like this for a 350Z, when the car arrived it was not the one in the pictures, his was supposed to be white, this was black...weird. he had 5days in the contract to look over the car, so he took it to his mechanic. asside from needing a full tune-up it was leaking oil everywhere and needed extensive repairs...he sent it back at his own cost.

now the deal for him was a 2004 350z with 73k miles, he paid like 4.5k. less learned hard way for him.

so yeah its sort of a scam, just hope that some nigerian prince doesnt try to ask for help too!
