Im the new proud owner of a 1988 BMW 325IX

So I went and negotiated a deal on the 325ix Ive been mulling over for the last few weeks. Things went pretty well. I went in prepared, with printouts of the KBB private party value and the estimate of repairs from a local garage. He was asking 2500 but considering it needs about 600 bucks worth of parts and 300 for rust removal I started out at 1800. He mulled it over for a second and countered with 2000 and we called it a deal. Im pretty happy that I managed to talk him down 20%, and we both came out happy. Anyways I pick the car up next thursday once I get the car registered and some temp tags to move around with for a while. All I can say is Im excited to say the least. Its been two years since my last e30 and its been to damn long. I dont even have the car yet and its good to be back! Thanks to Beemerfanatik, Nando, and everyone who gave me advice while I contemplated the decision, and Im looking forward to actually attending some e30 New England get togethers now!
