Looks good to me man.. that would make a great project car. Some people like to actually drive their e30 m3's you know. You bet your ass when I get mine, it will be driven.

Can't say this is the worst i've seen... a while ago there was some idiot who swapped an M30 into an E30 M3 on bf.c. It was a sad day in my pants.

IMO the E30 M3 needs an S38, after all its just an S14 with two more cylinders.

And, nobody said they are not out there. I bought Alex Mchenry's engine after it sat around for nearly 7 years. Dad had spent quite some $ on it but S14's can be had cheap but to rebuild one is NOT cheap.

Sure I'll get blasphemy'd for it, but a Vanos M50 in that car is gonna be just as quick if not quicker than a stock S14. Knock it down to 5k or so and it's a halfway decent track toy.

In a straight line, yeah, but that's a lot of extra weight over the front axle vs. an S14 (and that's coming from an M50 E30 owner). Weight distribution is not necessarily as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be, but it does matter.

7k cluster? m3 is 8k, i called m3 bought that was stripped, and he pieced back together

That's an 84-85 instrument cluster. 318i perhaps since it has a 7K cluster. Looks like an M3 to me, just a pieced together one.

Wow, that is really clean. Pull m50 and get a S52 and be done. If a M3 is getting a swap it HAS to be something of note. IMO
