Call your insurance company and ad the car to your policy. I bought my e30 in Denver, Co and drove back home in northern Iowa this way. In a black bmw with tinted windows and no plates.

If you have insurance on one car already, that automatically covers a newly aquired vehicle for 7-14 days depending on your state.

Just get a bill of sale and call you insurance agent on Monday, you'll be fine.

Well turned out the dude still had plates for the car. Put those on and drove it home.

700 bucks for a 89 2DR 5SP 325i. Just need a new door and drivers fender. 180k miles on the clock.

Put some Bilsteins on it this morning, and it needs a new thermostat as I found out on the ride home.

Oil change tomorrow night. Put some star specs on it, and the lug bolts were on so tight I broke 2 Sockets trying to get them off.

Congrats on the new ride. Crazy about breaking the sockets, I would expect a breaker bar or something to break first.

i've seen e30 lug bolts break sockets attached to a breaker bar before.

                use impact sockets next time.

It was an impact socket attached to a breaker bar.
