    Is this front end repairable?!

Ok guys so here is the deal.
Sweet 91 318is slicktop for sale in my area
$450 dollars. Has some rear damage that isnt too bad, but this front end damage is what scares me!
Ive seen a guy on here repair this front support section but cant find the thread
Would I need a body shop to do this?
If it cant be repaired I can use some of the parts for my car and part the rest.
The plan is to make the car Driveable. I am going to use my current salvaged car for parts to make it nice.

    Thanks
    -Craig

take a picture of the frame rails.

a core support is replaceable(kinda hard but doable)
but straighten out frame rails that a different issue.

Sure it is. Cut out the core support, weld in a new/used one. The rest is bolt on stuff.

Looks like it might be too much for me. I guess I need to save up more and look for a nicer shell/car

              It's that easy?
will a MIG welder suffice for this job?
I don't have welding experience. I can get someone who does though!

Yes a MIG welder is what you would use.

honestly, i've seen worse. Hell, i own worse, and am currently in the processes or repair worse. it's a bit of an under taking, since you don't have much welding experience. a mig welder should be able to handle it though, no problem.

pm me if you want some advice on how i'm doing it.

The core support is pretty easy, however if the frame rails are ganked (and the driver's side one looks like it might be) I'd buy it as a parts car only.

Could you indicate what the frame rails are exactly?
I have another car that I can take parts from for this car or vice versa.
Im negotiating price for this car now.
If the price is right ill take it

They are the longitudinal rails that run the length of the car. The front ends of them are what the front bumper attach to, just below the high beams. If the ends are just a bit squished, that's not a biggie, however depending on the severity of the hit you may want to look at them more closely under the car for bends/kinks/etc.

Bingo. Also since the subframes attach to them, they may also be damaged too, although those are a bolt-on affair.
