Bingo. Also since the subframes attach to them, they may also be damaged too, although those are a bolt-on affair.

I'll try to get him to get pictures of them.
heres how i told him

"Take a picture going down into the drivers side of the engine bay and one from like the drivers side door going into the front drivers side headlight in the engine bay"
Will that work? haha
