I got one from a guy I know for 50$ (had it laying in his basement...?) so anyway do you guys recommend me trying to put it in myself??

PS: It was for a four door, I made an educated guess that the 2 door would be the same... Was I right?

I am 99% sure all back glass is the same. If you rubber seal is still attached to the car it really isnt that difficult to install by yourself. My girl had the same thing happen as you last year only the car was all alone when it exploded the glass.

These seem have suicidal behavior. It's probably a good thing it broke before I put my 2 12inchers in... But I think that when I jacked the car up I jacked one side to high to fast and maybe the body pulled a muscle or something. poopies

Leave the seal on the car if it is still there and supple. Gently remove the locking strips starting with the metal 90 degree pieces in the bottom corners.Remove all remaining glass shards from in the seal groove. With the locking strip out the seal lip that holds the glass in is much more flexible. Lube the groove with soapy water and set the new window into its groove on the bottom. Start to lay the glass down to its final position pulling the seal lip over the edge of the glass as you go. Once the glass is in place reinstall the locking strip and corners. BTW if your seal is nasty and hard you prob should replace it .

-20c ?!! damn. Yeah heat that shit up first , even a new seal would be plastic at those temps.

Ha yea im not the only one but i got one for 20 bucks from a buddy it took like 10 minutes to swap. Unscrew the clip in the back and 8mm or 10mm bolt behind the cloth hanger notch thing and another about a foot or 2 lower under a small like cap. Then remover winder and install then your done.

I believe he is talking about a rear rear window not a four door rear side window.
