    Well this sucks... please help

    I had nothing to do today so after accumulating some couch time I thought I'd go work on my car... Chose to repair the tweeter housings since they were creating moderate wind noise.

    Well I didn't repair anything today, turns out that closing your passenger door might cause your rear window to literally explode!

    I would usually laugh it off but I only have 300$ left in my account because I was in college full time and now I decided to accumulate for private school.

    How much would a rear window run in a scrap yard and how do I get it off the car without breaking it?

    thanks =p

        They are very easy to get out at the junkyard. Remove the locking strip and cut off the portion of the seal that covers the glass with a razor. gently push window out .

            It is in the center of the gasket as veiwed from the outside of the car. Its about 8mm wide or so.

                        I got a rear windshield from the junkyard, got it for $50. Had no experience in pulling windows out. Just pulled off locking strip, removed the gasket and gently pounded with the bottom of my fist from the inside on one corner of the window. Not sure if this is recommended but it worked for me.
