Does KYB AGX 8 way adjustable shocks work with E30s?

I am a Miata nut and I have these lying around and was wondering if it would work on my E30.

They are like half the length of e30 shocks. You'd have to lower the mounting point in the rear like a pick up truck style. And the fronts would need to be somehow welded to the strut tube. Would take more fabrication then its worth. Unless your a fabricator by trade in which case you would not be asking how to do it. I'd think the akg rear shock adapter plates are a great option to get cheap completely custom rear shocks.
