    323i(s)

    A guy on the street stopped me at a light and said he loved e30s and was trying to sell a 323i(wasn't sure about the s) with only 50k kilometers on it, european spec. I took down his information and I'm gunna take a look at it. He said he was trying to get 2500 for it. I don't know much about the 323i or 323is. Is it worth looking into?

    Iirc, the head on that engine is a great upgrade to an ETA engine. Maybe the flywheel out of it, not 100% on that though. Should have euro bumpers on it. If it's not rotted out and is in good shape, I don't see why you couldn't snag it for less than $2500.

      the flywheel is lightened and the head is a good upgrade. if its clean go for it. see what goodies it has.

            ljet is shit only buy it if intending a motorswap.

            the Head works on eta blocks well but it gets smashed (well not by so much) by 325i head eta's.

            rear end is big 6 and everything else is the same as a euro 320i/325i. just the managment is pure shit

                sell the ETA and put that money in the euro 323i, as long as it isnt all crapped out.
                and all the info so far is wrong. the eta bottom end is good for the 323i!!!!

                  855 head is better than the 731 head, we use the 731 head because here a non cracked but poor condition 855 head costs $800 aud.
