ive seem to notice that there is distinct difference between BMW owners and e30 owners. i cant talk to most bmw owners but i cant shoot the shit with most e30 owners. anyone agree?

was just thinking that. I haven't had the same experience at all. Most members of my local BMWCCA chapter are really friendly, and love to talk. I find that the "stuck up rich people" tend to not be in the BMW clubs for the most part, and what you get left with are the really cool, fun rich people.

Well, i was one of those rich guys when i bought my E30 new in 1990, $29,000, could of bought 2-3 american cars and still still have that Vert, All these E30's would not be here if it wasn't for some almost rich guys that could't afford the Big BMW's, i agree, some people are snooty all over the car community. the CCA guys are almost always cool, new BMWs or not. Soccer mom's driving around in a used E46? Meh. There's tons of meth addicts who drive beat to shit E36's and live in trailer parks too, but they're not cool for different reasons..

I find that most people that drive BMWs are not reasonably tuned into the "cult" status of e30's. The ones that are, no matter what they drive now, probably had a e30 at some point and wish they still did.
