    That said all depends on how much snow, type of snow, air temps, car/truck type, 4wd or not, tire type and condition skill level, comfort level and experience .

    That said for me I grew up with the shit and have been driving in it for at least 5 months a year since I was a kid. At 45 you are holding up traffic in the north country in anything less than 5 inches of snow thats not on ice or in icing/hard pack/uber heavy slush (latter for differing reasons) conditions

      i have done nearly 100mph through 16in. of snow, on a paved public road, in a legally tagged vehicle. it just depends on how its setup.

          Id say we should agree that there are too many variables to consider as to whether he was driving at a safe speed or not.

          Glad you're ok. chop the trunk/rear subframe assembly off after you part it out and make a towable smokehouse grill! :D
