    Anyone know about CA registration?

There is this car that has been on craigslist for about 1 or 2 months already it won't sell because of registration that was due in NOV 2009. Anyone know or have an estimate of what the numbers may be?

I want to check it out but I don't want to waste time if it has really expensive registration fees.
WTB E30. Right now $1500+ Vert or 4 door only.

Price range will increase every month.

I'm pretty certain that fee's do not just keep accruing anymore and instead go up to a certain point before stopping. I've picked up random cars in the last couple years that were 6 months - a year out of registration and only paid about $150-$200 in back fee's.

go to the dmv website and input vin and license plate and it will give you the estimate amount.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I picked up a 91 318i for $500, it has $480 in registration fees, last time it was registered was in '09. Just my experience, though.

Like said above, if you have the VIN the DMV website can give you a price.

Pretty much expect to pay $400. :) God bless California.

Yup your going to have to pay all fees, tickets , pay up to date tags, smog and etc. Look forward to paying for everything at once. time=fees unless it was non op then your good. GL
