    E36 M3 trapped in a 2002 body.

Just thought I would share this amazing project car with all of you. Proof positive that (in Trent's words) shops do shit forum kiddies never dream of.

The car is a completely hollowed out and gutted 2002 shell. All body panels that could be replaced with fiberglass were. The entire underbody of the 2002 was cut out, and a "matching" e36 M3 underbody was put under the 2002 shell and welded together.

The result is nothing short of amazing.

The artice on some of the build can be found here:

No recent pictures are online, but I took the liberty of snapping a few now that the paint job is semi-done and the flairs are done.

    E36 M3 suspension + uber light 2002 body + worked OBDI S52 + PTG GTR style flairs = BADASS

I will be working on this car soon and I simply cannot wait!

One of my buddies is trying to juice 300 hp out of his 2002, with a swap too. Turbo, but running half the PSI on the street, I still think hes nuts.

As far as the E36 M3/02 body idea, a long time ago I was following some pictures when they were actually chopping and fitting parts to the smaller body and omfg, just incredible craftsmanship.
