    haha thats how i felt,
except i panic'd horribly and counter steer'd way to much and i dont know what i was doing with the pedals.... but i'm sure it was along the lines of smashing the accelerator out of fear then realizing i was smashing it and moving to the brake to smash on it.
not use to the 5speed quite yet so my left foot was all dead pedal haha and i came to a complete stop and the car died. restarted it, with my heart at like 120 bpm and drove straight around the corner to my house put it in the driveway and went straight inside... hahah.

You can get good tires for 14x6 wheels, do I hear Dunlop Direzza Z1 Sport Star Specs?

with snow tires. You so much as look at the gas, and it laughs at you.

Sliding on crap tires in the rain, and getting a little sideways on the track are totally different. Unless you are on crap tires on a track in the rain. then you are dumb^2.
    haha yeah.
i just have my bottle caps....
the tires are nearly new but aren't anywhere near track tire rated i would guess haha.

Yes, I agree with all of those.

Don't let off, hah right that's a great idea if you want to do a fucking 360. Yeah just pin it bro that's how to get it back. Drop throttle oversteer is possible if you snap off the gas hard enough but leaving your foot on the gas in a RWD in a slide is about the worst thing you can do.

    good point...
in forza 3 when i give it more i spin more, when i keep it steady it goes a little better... but when i slam on them brakes i just slide till i stop.

that would be the most fun :)
as long as i don't lose control going 80 and hit a ditch and roll like 10+ times.
that shit would fucking scare me to death! haha.
    but yes.
    rally sounds sooooo fucking fun.
    and so scary too.

Ever since then, I don't practice drifting unless I'm in an empty parking lot with nobody around. It's not worth the risk of totaling your car just because you have the urge to get sideways.

p.s. don't let off the gas if the back end comes loose. you will regain traction and the car will snap back in the direction of the countersteer and you will most likely wreck! ask me how i know?
    ;)
