Im thinking of getting this seat for 260 with a e30 bracket brand spankin new? any coments????? please be quick as i am driving to look at them tomorrow.
Looks nice, you sacrifice things not being able to recline the seat but if thats not a worry go for it if the price is good and you won't see something like it for awhile.
I was thinking there'd be more padding, but had also read reviews saying they were on the thin side. So it was good to feel in person and sit in them. (Alex's DSP car)
Although I'd maybe like more padding initially, they are still nice cheap seats and good value. Maybe in the long term uncomfortable, but for their purpose they work. A session isn't usually more than a half hour, and maybe less padding would be more connected??
Anyway. I'd like to sit in a sparco shell in the next year or two.....
I hesitate to buy any seat that the back isnt adjustable. Im 6'2" so I have to have it reclined just a bit, but not at like a 45 degree angle like some. I think that anything inbetween 66 and 73 degrees thereabout would work.

The seat backs are not vertical. And you could stack washers under the front of the bracket to tilt the seat more.
TJ i think you have a good idea with stacking washers in the front. also guys Im only 5'6" so the height thing shouldnt be an issue even with my helmet on. Thanks for all the advice. I picked it up today with Sparco seat rails for the e30 M3 (same rails as a stock e30) and a Sparco strut tower bar for an extra $100. man what a difference a tower bar makes in a car. WOW
