One thing every e30 owner should do...

Is change their throttle cable. My old one made throttle response so laggy and dull, than it snapped on friday. So i replaced and now the throttle response is on key! Definately worth doing if your throttle is feeling a little tired.

    Mine was laggy...

Adjusted it and worked fine ;)

Just curious though, how much work is involved in replacing it if it were ever to break?

Definitely agree. The difference is amazing. I've done this on most of my cars.

same. everyone should at least do this. most of our cables were probably stretched out 10 years ago.

Well everything on the motor side of the firewall is honkydorey. But getting the clip that connects the line to the firewall is a pain, you have to squeeze it out but i just broke it off. Than the new one pops right in. Its like a ten min. job. It also took care of my check engine light(old cable mustve made it idle too low lol). When i was pulling out of my driveway i was reving like crazy because it felt like butter and smooth.

I'll have to do this, or atleast tighten mine. Thanks for the tip!
