Any PNW's near lakewwod Wa. wanna help

Theres a new member named Dan that has a swap car , NV m50. Its his first car and hes new to BMW's and has a strong desire to learn. Ive talked to him on the phone trying to walk him through it but if we had 1 knowledgeable guy that could spend 15 minutes on his car i think we could solve his issues and get him going again. It sound like a vac leak/ICV issue but he cant get the gooseneck out of the intake. I obviously cant physically do it or i would. 100 bucks worth of parts at cost to anyone who is willing to help

Get a hold of Josh (Wishno87), he'd probably be down like Charlie Brown. Not sure how far Lakewood is from him (looks pretty close to Tacompton), but worth a shot, for sure. Knows his shit when it comes to the 24V swap.

I've also been talking with Dan. Lakewood isn't that far from me, but I'm having a hell of a transition period with a new job starting and the pregnant wife and the 17mo old munchkin. I think I can manage it Saturday if it can wait :(
        Need a part? PM me.

thanks I sent him a pm. I just remember being really frustrated with cars when I was young and didnt know much. I had guys helping me out back then. they would crank the motor by the handle out front while I worked the gas.

                  Steve,

I'm in Lakewood...but have no swap experience. I've had a M50 (in a E36) though and have too much E30 experience.

Have him PM me and maybe we can work something out... I'm open mornings.

Great guy, here. From everything I've looked at via pictures and text's, Dan has a few vacuum leaks due to old hoses being fucking re-used by Greg on his swaps (ask me how I know?) and possibly a crapped out ICV.

From my experience and having gone back over his work and ethics? Yes, I'm saying don't have him do it.

Long story as short as I can make it is in the Transaction Feedback thread.

There's a trend of Greg's swaps (including Dan's) going back in less than a year. Mine in less than 3 months.

you're going to hear about the planes that crash though not the ones that land safely.

i'm not commenting on your situation or anything but personally my experience with greg has been nothing short of great
