i agree. anyways thats my old car and i just havent had time to come down there and lend a hand. car ran great when i sold it to him tho. from the vids sounds like the vac leak is really loud im sure someone will figure it out fairly easy when they actually see the car.

It sound like a vac leak/ICV issue but he cant get the gooseneck out of the intake. I obviously cant physically do it or i would. 100 bucks worth of parts at cost to anyone who is willing to help
Lakewood is not far from me, I have an extra ICV I could use to test it. Not sure if I will have time to look at it tonight, but probably could tomorrow after work if he does not figure it out by then.

hey guys its me, the guy who needs help! wow, i am surprised at the amount of people willing to lend a hand.
i didn't see this thread until now.
Steve, thanks so much for all your help. i got a pm from "wanganstyle" yesterday and he sold me an icv for 32 dollars shipped. he's shipping it tomorrow.

i still am unsure if it's the icv that's bad...an experienced eye and ears would definitely make my life so much easier. killacortes sold this car to me and he is not a bad guy by any means, car was solid when he sold it to me. it was just a spell of bad luck when she started having problems

so basically Matt-B wasn't able to make it out today and ck_taft325is hasn't been able to find enough time with his child and everything that's going on.

is there anybody else out there that can help me? i don't know what's wrong with my car and i haven't had it for almost a month now...it's terrible. i only drove it for 3 days.....it's sickening to me because i am just watching the car sit there..it was so much fun. :(

Lakewood is only 20-30 minutes drive (or less) for many of us.. Hopefully someone can get out there (I'd be useless)

Well if my e30 swap was running then I may be of help, however I'm not experienced in the vac leak dept nor do I have a means of transportation.
