i just watched a video on trading up on craigslist, some kid apparently traded up on craigslist from somethine as small as a cell phone all the way to a porche boxter, i was very surprised. i realized theres more potential in craigslist, so i check out the free classifieds for something i can start out with to trade up.
i'm browsing around....
all the sudden i find a free car.
i got "wtf? must be some jacked up POS with reg. fees out of this world and doesn't even run"
turns out some guy bought a new car and is being really generous, giving away his 1997 960 4dr with 150xxx miles on it.....
i'm about to snag this shit and possibly flip it! so excited :X

Yeah, let us know how that turns out.

1- if it's for real, and the guy's just being generous, he'll probably wait for a bunch of replies, then pick the one that needs the car the most.

2- if it's for real, and the guy just wants to get rid of it, then he'll give it to the first responder- and that's probably not you unless you replied within 5 seconds of the ad being posted.

do you realize how long 24 hours is for free shit on cl?
i posted a broken shitty futon on cl last Saturday for $20 and it was gone immediately and we were getting calls about that all day. I cant even imagine how many people would try to get a free car.
