HR Race Springs on a e30 Vert ???

Does anyone know if the HR "Race" spings will work on a convertible e30 325i ? I have read that they do not but, I find it hard to believe.
I have weighed 2 different e30's one a vert and the other original and
they both weighed within 100lbs of each other. Weight shouldn't be an issue...I did call Turner Motorsports and they said that the weight is the issue. I'm curious to know if anyone has actually tried or have installed the "Race" springs on their vert.

yes they work. the verts just tend to sit a tad bit lower than their hardtop counterparts.

you will need to get camber bolts. you're gonna get up with like -9degrees of camber.
    Much wow
    I hate 4 doors

Or run a bunch of spring pads in the back to raise it up? =]
Technically they were designed for the E30 M3 but will fit other E30's.
Check out the convertible suspension thread in the suspension section.

I have H&R Race springs on my Cab and they are too soft in the rear, but I am used to driving cars on coilovers. If I put anyone in the back I get a constant rub, although I am on 16'' wheels with lots of poke
