    it's about training yourself to learn a track quickly, try different paths around the same area to determine better / worse lines, and other skills useful on a track and on the road. so many people say the same thing...

    "a whole day for 5 laps? what's up with that."

    i remember how much i learned my first auto-x. it was more than i learned in 5 years of driving on the streets. it's still fun and it's very competative when you get to the prosolos and nationals.
