Bahaha. Yea I told him I couldn't go much more than a grand and I think that offended him. I have about a 2k spending limit. Yea I wasn't sure if those badges ment anything. But oh well I guess I will find another.

Yea I'm mainly looking for a car getting decent mpg, 5 speed, and rwd. Not looking for a show car so I don't really find bad paint or a torn seat that big of deal. Would either be a good investment for those reasons? From what I hear, the 325e lasts forever with proper care.

from what i can tell that car doesn't look too great.... he wants 2500? if i were you i wouldn't pay more than 1700 pr 1500 for it. but really depends on how badly you want an e30 right away.
but that advice is from me and i'm from california, where e30's are pretty abundant.

I think the second one looks like a nice little fixer-upper, but I wouldn't go any higher than $2K for it, personally.

So the lowest I could probably get is 1500 for the first one and 2000 for the second. I am looking for a DD while I save up for another 240. Which will last longer and be less costly in maintenance? Sorry to say but I am getting impatient. Disregard the looks. Reliability is important. Sorry I wasn't really sure what I wanted out of the car until today.
