They are offering me this used kit sans spoiler, orignal with all hardware. Is it worth it? Would you buy it?

if it was brand spanking new and that was the route I'd want to go, yes. otherwise, I piece a use kit together for a hell of alot cheaper.

I said piece a kit together, not a full kit. I guess it sound kinda like I was saying a full kit. I've found some legitimate parts on UK eBay for pretty cheap. that's with shipping included. I'll let you know the next time I run across some as I'm on there fairly often.

pretty cheap in pounds sterling? because that could end up being ass-expensive.

I don't see peicing a kit being worth the $150 you might save..

I think $150 would be relative to how easy you could get the parts piecing it together. I've seen pretty much all the original parts on UK eBay pretty regularly aside from the rear bumper(which I've only seen once). after conversion, the parts were totaling in the 800-950 USD range without the rear valance. This all came about when I was trying to help a buddy track down original mtech skirts & aprons. There was one company in peticular. I'll try to find them later tonight.

Shipping from UK takes forever, no thank you. 1500 isn't that bad.

You're not going to save much piecing together a kit. Many of the people selling things on ebay UK are not willing to ship to the US. If they are willing to, the shipping is Expensive.

$1500 is a good price if it's in good condition.

Yes $1500 is a good price... at BEST you may find one for less, but it will have some damage you need to fix. I paid $1000 for mine without a spoiler, paid $300 for the rear spoiler, and somewhere around $100 for all of the hardware. And I needed to fix some cracks here and there. When buying a used kit, make sure all the sections ON the kit which the hardware connects to are intact. At least for the most part. And I highly suggest getting the drilling stencils for the side skirts and front valance. They aren't cheap (maybe $80 all together), but very very worth it.

                              Say what you want but....

No I wouldn't, just because I don't like 'em. Maybe for $500 to resell but not for personal use. The M3 suspension though would be a big fuck yeah for $700.
