Headers, exhaust, chip and intake.
That be all. This was my second dyno I was on.
Numbers from both was very close, by like 5/10hp
This was the only one I had a video of.Comment

im not thoroughly wise on //M motors but I saw a Z3 M coupe put down 225whp on a dyno at Grossman in Louisville 2 years ago. everything was completely stock with 60k+ miles on it. Seems slightly low to me... Regardless, thats a pretty Alpine.

Completely agree. OP, if the car pulls strong that's all that counts. Comparing dyno numbers with sooo many different variables is like measuring epenis sizes. I can have a friends dyno tell me I'm putting out 300rwhp on a dynodynamics dyno. My ewang is f'n huuuge.Dyno numbers are completely useless without another similar motor on the same dyno to compare against. You have no idea how that dyno is calibrated so the numbers are meaningless, just make sure your A/F is good.
My s50 with 3.5inch hfm, ebay headers, PS delete, AC delete, tune, stock injectors (maybe forgetting something, it has all the boltons besides cams) put down 225rwhp. The dyno shop said that stock s50's consistently put down 200-205rwhp, and an m54 with some minor stuff down put down around 215-220 right before I went on.
Point is, you need a car to compare to, you can't just say the number seems low.Current: 1988 M3 - Henna/Black black alcantara

I put down 247/242 rwhp/tq a while back, raceland euro SS -> dual 2.5" -> UUC System U, S52 w/ obd1 mani, 3.5" hfm, and a trm chip. Same day, same dyno, 1 hour earlier an e46 M3 put down 258whp stock.
If the dyno is reading low, I wouldn't be worried, but at face value I'd check the tune, and maybe see about the fuel filter / fuel pump.Comment

Would there be a big difference between OBD1 converted s52 w/ 3.5 HFM/24# injectors/Dinan and this? Cause mine threw down about 240 at the wheels, and I'd concur this seems maybe a hair low. Could be environmentals certainlye92 M3
