Sounds about right. That's what e30's go for nowadays. Supply and demand. Clean e30's are hard to find, even decent e30's are getting relatively hard to find. The e30 already had it's low point. Now it's getting to the point where the price will slowly rise as did the 2002.
If it's clean inside and out with maintenance, that's a $5k car.
Agreed, and if you don't buy it someone will. And that will prove it's really a $5k car.
Friend of mine just sold a clean '91 318is after listing it for just 2 days. Asked $6k and got $6k and actually had 3 guys waving asking price cash at him.
Would you say that we are at the point where a clean 318is is worth more than (the same) 24v swapped car? Cause eventually one day that will be true...
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Sorry to say but if you don't get it someone will. I seen E30's sell in 1-3 days. It's a good thing E30's are going up because then we won't have people buying E30's to swap out the engine ! I like to keep everything original or swap out something with the same or better product. For instance, I dislike V8 E30's, they sound like a muscle car. Don't get me wrong I love the 396 El Caminos and a 350 69 Camaro but they should stay within the Chevy company. That is just me though. LOL
