    Tragedy- National Races , involved a E30 M3-Pics

This news (saw by news papers) shocked me, and that's mostly because I knew the guy and he brang me a coupel of time his E30 M3 (car and engine especially delevpoment in Germany -300HP) and he gave me a ride when I wa 13 years old in that bullet car

So, in few words, the news papers say the main causeunconfirmed yet) was a little hole in the road, the rear left tire impacted in it, looks like blew while he was arround at 180 Km/H made some turns and fianlly impacted to the column of a bright. Piss me off there wasn't any barrier of safety, that's why national races sucks one here.

Well here are shot shots I took from the news paper!

    RIP Cesar V.

        That totally sucks.

Race safety is a big issue nowadays in developing nations; i've got first hand experience with that here in Panama.

Our only track is half of an abandoned, half blown up airfield. The track's pavement is nonexistant. In all honestly, a rally car would be more at home on our track than our race cars. There are no armco barriers, virtually non-existant crowd protection, little fire suppression equipment and the nearest hospital is a 15 minute drive away (hauling ass). The track itself is a big D, with turns built with cones. It's like a rally gymkhana. Attempts to build a real track keep getting sidetracked by the race organizing body's own internal political backstabbing, funding issues and the constant turmoil at the nationwide political level.

Somehow, we've managed to escape with few serious injuries, but there have been serious close calls. This is the only reason that I don't race. I value my life more than whatever thrill i could get from the track.

How expensive would some heavy duty plastic garbage cans with water in them have been?

              Fuck... that is horrible. RIP

I doubt they would have been an option or even saved his life. It looks like he Hit the concrete pillars. At the supposed speed he was travelling, man + momentum vs concrete is a very tough one to win.

RIP to the dude and sorry for the loss Diego.
