    DBs saved me in a similar incident, on a stock height car.

    If you're lowered it doesn't matter... your grilles and hood become the bumper =p

        Diving boards may protect you a little but, what is the point like others said when they look so bad? I am so glad I just switched over to plastics. It makes the car look so much cleaner.

            That's a terrible argument for keeping the diving boards. They can be made to look good but it's a lot easier to make plastics or euro bumps look good; install them.
