I think I stopped at this:
Honestly, since buying my car I'm amazed at the lack of online support for these cars. You can practically rebuild a MINI or VW TDI from info available online. The E30 is practically a black-hole for useful information.

as with any forum/post parts of their concerns are valid/true.
that being said admins/owners have made an effort to change the direction and have done a good job.
just like any community there are highs and lows, but such is life.
Ive said it before, I got into e30s and stayed with them because of this forum and continue to do my best to support it.
Where else are you going to get the entertainment value, knowledge, and be blessed with loyal customers?
While there are lots of other sources R3V owns the e30s.:Dsigpic

I think r3vlimited is like a mean dad. 99% of the time he's berating you for throwing like a girl, not being able to rebuild a 4 barrel carb in your sleep, and always being like your mother.
That 1% of the time though, on the yearly fishing trip, when you hook a largemouth bass and you fight it together and pluck it from the still waters of the lake you're on, and that fleeting smile flits across his face, is when you know that the old man ain't all bad.

I think people need to realize that r3v is not a place to have your hand held through the project. It's not gonna happen, I think this generation is too babied and needs to learn how to pick themselves up and do things on their own.
Forums are here to help, not hold your hand and guide you through every little bump in the road. Stop takin the interweb forums so seriously and grow up.

I do love R3v, and I also can agree with the point they are making in some aspects. I love r3v for it's lenient nature, as a lot of entertaining things can happen. I do think there is too much dick riding at times, but hey, if you don't like the thread, you don't have to participate.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury.
