    Who here has flipped a car? if so what was your purchase price and sale price? also what work/improvements did you do?

    88 325 e
    -purchased for $500
    -New fuel pump (free)
    -oem seats (free)

    Sold for $1100.


    Current Car: 2011 BMW 135i, M-Sport, 6 speed

    i flipped a 86 ETA. Bought for $ 700, brought to junkyard and they gave me a couple bucks for scrap, some of the panels weren't effected by the flip.

            2003 PT cusier ft.

            Paid 700 for it they thought it had a cracked head. They chainged the headgasket and didn't torque the head. All I did was get the head pressure tested and slap a new head gasket on and fsold it for 5900. I put around 600 into it.

              Bought rebuilt title E36 m3 for 3900 from sketchy Russian. Turned out to be one of the smoothest running S50's I've driven.

              Windshield 200
              Trim paint 10
              Wax plus wash.

              Sold for 6500

                got a 82 320i(needed a jump), 78 320i(parts car), and a 75 02(parts car) all for $975, sold the 83 for $1100 2 days later, after i took out the recaros and swaped rear seat and door cards which i sold for another 100, part after parting the other 2 cars made some thing like 2-3k

                  Bought this for $3800. Sold it without the rondells for $3900, and sold the wheels for $1000 (biggest mistake ever)


                  I didn't try to "flip" the car, I miss this car to this day... however it was a wiring, suspension, & cooling system nightmare. I would kill for another e34.

                  I have so much money into my e30, I don't want to even think about it right now....

                    I think that further down the line I may try it for fun.
                    I could never sell my E30, I'm way too attached to it.
                    If I did, I could make a killer profit.

                      I got a free Daewoo with a blown headgasket. Invested 300 for parts once i finally found a source and sold it for 1000. haha

                          Bought an 84 318i for $150, tossed a battery in it and sold it for $1000 later on down the road.

                            '86 ETA, (car in sig) Invested $2000 total, sold for $2800

                            '87 325es bought for $500, rallied it in the field, did some big ass burnouts to test the limited slip, sold a week later for $1000

                            '81 320i, invested $1050 total, drove it as a daily for a few months, sold for $2000

                              Bought a 68 Jag XKE for 4900. Rechromed the spoke wheels 300. New Paint 1000. Sold for 12k. This was in 1991.
