Is the "B***H TUBE" supposed to lOok like this ?

In my first ever attempt to change my head gasket , i realized my bitch tube was shaped like this. I kinda feel like it shouldn't. Also it didn't sit flush in the hole on the block , and im wondering could this cause over heating problems. would it affect the coolant from being pressurized causing the milkshake stuff ? because i checked my head gasket and it didnt seem blown at all ... THANKS to anyone who responds in advance.

      wtf no....

looks like some blown out vag.

and it shouldnt sit flush. it should sit IN both the oil pan and the intake manifold. it has a little lip around both sides. 3" on the oil pan and 1/4" on the intake side. it should fit inside until those lips stop it from moving. it should also have a spring around the bottom. when reinstalling, use a small zip tie to compress the spring for easier installation.

i dont have it to take a picture this second , but it does have the lip on the intake side. it also has a lip on the other side , On the bottom where it begins to taper , maybe after one or two loops of the spring. there is a lip , know i dont know if it happened whenever the bitch tube took this shape. the spring sits perfectly almost like it was meant to be like that.... anyways ill try to fix it back to and o shape .. but could the shape of the tube and it not sitting flush cause the coolant to not pressurize and give the milkshape type goo ?

your head is probly cracked if you are getting coolant and oil mixing... the bitch tube is just an oil return from the head to the bottom end as well as a place for crank case gasses. to see the crack in the head you will most likeyl have to look directly under the cam through the cam journals
