dude, springs have almost no bearing on snow driving, as long as you are driving on the road. If there is three feet of snow, your E30 won't clear it anyway. I plowed through 2 Colorado winters w/ my Races and I was fine. Actually, it was great. I even took the E30 up into the mountains to go snow boarding. Good snow tires are key, and an LSD helps. Also, you don't get high-centered on a flat road covered in snow, any snow that may be higher than the underside of your car gets plowed out of the way by your valence.

I had crap kumhos on my H&R'd 318i and it was a freaking snowmobile. Just keep the gas tank over half-full ;)Comment
