Of course they have their problems.. But doesn't every freaking car ever made?
I have seen a few converted to Synchro via first gen Passat running gear. And one or two converted to RWD

    The E30 doesn't :)

I had my chance to own the Corrado of a lifetime, and I didn't go for it. By rights I can never think of owning one again.

I was looking at buying one at one point but the test drive put me off.

When I started up the car the dash lights wouldn't come on, the owner said it was a new problem to him and that it worked fine the other day. Then during the drive It lost the headlights and the speedometer suddenly, it was getting dark so I quickly got the car back to his house and decided to not buy a corrado. This was a VR6 model.

These look so bad ass, IMO. I heard its better in the long run to get a VR6 version as well due to the S/C issues on the G60.... Cool cars though.

I have seen shit tons of them and still hate the look. But the OP one ALMOST made me like them. Once I got past the stance I hate it still.

I LOVE R32, Mk1-3 and I want a Squareback with an evil passion.

It's ironic to see this thread. I had a chance to pick up a dark green corrado, or the current alpine in my sig. The corrado was CLEAN but had 170,000 miles on it. I wish I could have bought both but I'm happy with my choice. I always think about what if..... Well if I did have the corrado, I'd probably still be a pompous ass on the whoretex instead.

By far my favorite VW; shame that I didn't know what it was until I got to high school and I met the owner one of just about the cleanest one that ever was!

Posted before in the picture thread but here is my buddy's old Corrado. Built it when he was 16!
